how to play sinkhole
Sinkhole is a free hole game in your browser. You're a hole in the street of a busy little 3D city, and anything smaller than you tips over the rim and drops in. Swallow cones and benches, grow, then go after cars, trees, houses and finally the towers, while rival holes go after the same food. There are 18 short levels, each with a tight clock and a quota bar, and up to three stars on each.
- Drag anywhere with a finger, point with the mouse, or use the arrow keys to slide the hole around.
- Anything that fits inside the hole tips over the rim and sinks. Things that are too big just wobble on the edge.
- Every bite fills the size bar under the hole. When it's full the hole grows a step and bigger things fit.
- Fill the quota bar at the top before the clock runs out to clear the level. Eat more of the town for the second and third star.
- From level 6 other holes eat too. A clearly bigger one swallows you for two seconds; a clearly smaller one is a meal worth five seconds. The badge over each rival shows its size.
Keyboard: Arrow keys or W, A, S and D steer, R restarts the level, L opens the level list, and Esc goes back to the menu.
tips
- Start on the small stuff. Ten cones are worth more early than one bench you can't fit yet.
- People run when the hole gets close. Come at them from the side of the park, not the middle.
- Cars stay in their lanes, so wait at a corner and let traffic come to you.
- Little clocks on street corners add five seconds. Plan your route through them on the late levels.
- Grow fast early and a rival becomes a snack instead of a threat.
- Save the biggest buildings for last, once the size bar says they fit.

How do I get three stars?
Eat most of the town. The quota mark clears the level, and the two marks after it on the bar are the second and third star.
Why won't a building fall in?
It's too big for the hole right now. Keep eating smaller things until the hole grows. The label under the size bar says what fits after the next size up.
Does anyone get hurt?
No. People who fall in float straight back out on a balloon, a little annoyed.

It's our own take on the eat-the-city idea, with hand-built levels and nothing to install.
Does it save my progress?
Yes. Stars for each level, your best and your streak are saved on this device.
