how to play aim high

Aim high is a free aim trainer. Thirty targets pop up one at a time, and you tap or click each one as fast as you can. Your score is your average time per target, adjusted for accuracy, in milliseconds.

  1. Tap the target in the middle to start.
  2. Thirty more appear one after another. Hit each one as soon as you see it.
  3. Taps that miss count against your accuracy, and your score is your average time divided by your accuracy, so spraying taps doesn't pay.
  4. Lower is better. Take too long and the targets get smug about it.

Keyboard: Aim high needs a pointer. Esc goes back to the menu.

tips

  • Move first, then tap. Lifting your finger or slowing the mouse right before the target costs more time than it saves.
  • Keep your eyes moving to the next target, not on the one you just hit.
  • Play on the same device to compare scores. Bigger screens mean longer trips.

faq

What's a good score?

With a mouse, most people land between 450 and 600 milliseconds per target. Under 400 is very quick. Phones and trackpads usually score slower.

How is accuracy counted?

Every tap or click inside the play area counts. Accuracy is hits divided by all taps, and your average time is divided by it. Thirty hits with three misses turns a 500 ms average into 550.

Can I play with a keyboard?

Not this one. Aiming needs a pointer, so it works with a mouse, trackpad, touch screen or stylus. Esc still goes back to the menu.
