how to play flapjack
Flapjack is a free one-tap flying game. You fly a pancake through the gaps between stacks of plates. Tap to flap, stop tapping to fall, and try not to touch anything.
- Tap anywhere (or press the space bar) to flap. Each flap gives a small hop.
- Gravity pulls you down between flaps.
- Fly through the gaps between the plate stacks. Each gap is a point.
- Touch a stack, its rim, or the floor and the run ends. What you see is exactly what you hit.
- Your best score sits under the counter. Pass it mid-flight and you will know.
Keyboard: Space, Enter, W or the up arrow flaps. Esc goes back to the menu.
tips
- Tap in a steady rhythm instead of mashing.
- Aim for the lower half of each gap. It's easier to hop up than to drop down.
- The gaps get a little tighter and the speed a little faster as your score climbs.

What's a good score?
Ten gaps is a decent run. Thirty is very good.
Is every gap possible?
Yes. A gap never moves more than a short hop from the one before it, and it always stays clear of the sky and the floor.
Does it work on phones?
Yes. It goes full screen while you play so stray taps don't scroll the page.
